Lange has crafted a sweet reunion story. I felt more connected to Molly than
Tanner, but they had great sexual tension from the very beginning. The time jumping
from present to ten years ago was a little jarring at first, I felt like it
might have been the author's way of getting to put in a lot of backstory
without it sounding like backstory. I really would have rather had more present
day before the jump.
The
dynamic between the group of friends was great and I could totally see myself
hanging out with these people (even though you would NEVER catch me in a tent).
I'm
trying not to spoil....but Molly's inner struggle was the main focus of the
story and as a woman who has struggled with fertility, I really connected with
her inner demons. I'm not sure someone who hasn't gone through something
similar would connect the same way though.
Now for
the pink parts... The romance in this story was hot and passionate! The scenes
between Molly and Tanner were well written and will leave you looking for a fan
or a tall glass of ice tea. Great job.
I was
very pleased with the ending. Thank you Ms. Lange for the opportunity to read
your work. I recommend it to anyone looking for a contemporary heartfelt and
tender reunion romance.
