Goodreads Blurb:
Milan, a Belgian chocolatier, lost his beloved brother. Yet life goes on, and he must ready his booth for Outfest—Ludolf would have wanted him to carry on. Jesse is a rudderless soul, unable to cope with the rejection of his lover. He comes to Lafayette, Indiana at the request of his best friend, Reggie. She inveigles him into helping her friend Milan…A way to pass the time, or something more?

My Review:

This is my first M/M romance that is not erotic or paranormal and I really enjoyed the experience. It’s short, (very) sweet, touching and romantic story. The Belgian Chocolate Remedy is a good read for any fans of the genre looking for a quick fix.

Jesse has had it rough. Various bad relationships, no luck with jobs and is currently living with his long time best friend Reggie. He’s begun to lack hope, dreams and the desire to find true love. That’s until the day he meets the sweet treat maker Milan J

Milan and his brother are starting a new life, a happy one, in a new place; it’s a mutual dream of theirs. They’ve dreamed about it for a majority of their lives and it’s finally all coming together perfectly! That’s until tragedy strikes and the direction of their dream becomes uncertain…

All-in-all I found it to be an enjoyable M/M romance that left me wanting… I felt it a touch unsatisfying because of its length. I’m hoping the author might continue on with Jesse, Milan and their good friend Reggie. I’d LOVE to see what the future holds for this new couple that has been brought together so quickly.
