Seventeen year-old orphan Kaitlin Sinclair's world gets turned upside down when she's forced to move half way around the world to Indonesia with her uncle she never knew existed. Things get worse when the demons she left behind in America follow her to the land of intrigue.

Her uncle forces her to attend a celebration where she meets Cadmon Quinn, a mysterious, captivating stranger, who reveals that he knew her parents. She uncovers secrets that in the wrong hands could destroy his endangered clan of were-tigers.

When Kaitlin dives into a foreign culture, full of mystique and dangers everywhere she turns, keeping her heart safe might prove as impossible as staying alive!

Dariel’s Review:
I received a copy of “Dangerous Temptation” free of charge in exchange for an honest review. Normally, YA or New Adult stories are not in my repertoire, but when I read the first five chapters of Barton’s white tiger shifter series book one, I was eager to find out how the story would end.

Kaitlin is a strong, memorable heroine paired with a strong, compassionate hero, and that alone is a winning combination. At times the story seemed to meander a bit, but considering the genre, a young woman learning her strength and purpose, the loose ends eventually cleared to a satisfying conclusion.

Add detailed fight scenes, a number of intentional and unintentional antagonists, and you have an enjoyable read. Plenty romance for any romance lover, and enough of a cliff hanger at the end to anticipate book two in the series. I congratulate Barton on her debut, a good start to a writing career worth watching! 4.5 rounded up to 5*****stars for the strength of the exceptionally developed female lead.
