Book description:

Unquestionably talented figure skater Matty Marcus is willing to sacrifice everything for his Olympic dream, but his lack of discipline cost him the gold once before. Now the pressure’s on. He needs a coach who can keep him in line, but top coaches don't come cheap, and Matty can't afford to stay in the game no matter how badly he wants to win.

When a lucrative house-sitting gig brings him to rural Montana, Matty does his best to maintain his training regimen. Local residents turn out to be surprisingly tolerant of his flamboyant style, especially handsome young rancher Rob Lovely, who proves to be much more than a cowboy stereotype. Just as Matty requires a firm hand to perform his best on the ice, Rob shows him how strong he can be when he relinquishes control in the bedroom. With new-found self-assurance, he drives himself harder to go straight to the top.

But competition has a timetable, and to achieve his Olympic dream, Matty will have to join his new coach in New York City, leaving Rob behind. Now he must face the ultimate test. Has he truly learned how to win—on and off the ice—during his training season?

Nanee's Review:

Wow! This book was a pleasant surprise, I'm not into figure skating but you don't have to be its about being strong, knowing your dreams and going after them but most of all love. Love Matty and all his brattiness, he's sweet, caring, moody and loving. My favorite though is Rob Lovely.  He's as sexy as hell rancher, who's sweet and a gentlemen, he's loving and caring and dominant. Yummy he is hot ! So freakin hot! Ben his son is awesome, he's so funny and loving and understanding. This story has amazing characters. Matty and Rob together are perfect, they complement each other with their attitudes and love but also their dreams and willing to go after what they want. I cried, I laughed and I fell in love with these characters. Great story (only complaint a little long in the middle with Matty's training) but love Montana and the city and love Rob and Matty and the sacrifices they make, Matty's family is awesome so supportive..little light BDSM too. Would love to know what happens with Matty and Rob where are they now and would love to read by this author. 4.5 stars

A Native American in a white world, he longs to find love and acceptance. He is ready for more than someone to share his bed. He wants someone to share his life. And Sharon really lights his fire.

Making a life with Sharon will require A Special Kind of Love.

Nanee's Review:

Very sweet, loving, romantic and did I say sweet. I cried, laughed and had a awe moment. Great characters especially Tanner sexy as hell Native American fire chief (yummy) and of course Aaron, he's sweet and adorable and the Love of Sharon's life; of course until Tanner comes into her life now she's got love for both. I loved this emotional roller coaster but especially loved Tanner for being the man he is honest, strong, loving and his family Nana and Annabelle all of them are a picture perfect family. I hate discriminating  ass hats like Tanner said but the way he rose above it shows you what type of people they are. Aaron broke my heart (in a good way)  with his love for Tanner, so sweet. Loved how the author made Sharon a real women with curves...and touched on some very real issues in people's lives. Great story.

Nanee's Review of Twelfth Sun by Mae Clair

Book description:

The hunky young PhD knows all about seduction, but what does he know about love?

Reagan Cassidy is settled in her life. She has a thriving interior design firm, an upscale condo, two cats, and a goldfish. As a favor to her uncle, she agrees to team up with his marine archeologist friend to validate and retrieve a nineteenth-century journal, reputedly that of a passenger aboard the doomed schooner Twelfth Sun. Finding a hunky twenty-five-year-old coming out of the shower in her hotel room wasn't part of the deal, but it's hard to complain...

Dr. Elijah Cross is cocky and he knows it. He enjoys trading barbs with the lovely Reagan. Barbs, and some innuendo. He can tell she'd rather get back home to her business than stick around for the extended treasure hunt they've been talked into, but he's fine with the situation. At least, until the 'clues' start getting personal.

Reagan finds Dr. Gorgeous is as skilled in matters of the heart as he is behind the lectern. Throw in a series of clues which mean more to Elijah than he'll explain, several odd-ball competitors out to win the journal, a saboteur, and a lavish seaside mansion, and Reagan has enough trouble keeping her head straight, let alone her heart.

WARNING: Younger man, older woman, nautical riddles and romance.

A Lyrical Press Contemporary Romance

Nanee's Review:

Action, intrigue, and sexy fun....Reagan and Elijah when they first met were funny, him with his sexy grin and charm and her with her snippy attitude and not take shit from anybody glare. The cast of characters were all intriguing during their scavenger hunt a lot of mysterious things start happening, this books keeps you on your toes that for sure. I loved Elijah he's so sexy and smart and oh so devilish and sometimes immature and oh so drool worthy....very unique book, great characters..

Nanee's Review of The Counterfeit Cowgirl by Kathryn Brocato

18221277

Book Description:

Felicity Clayton, tired of life on the road as a top saleswoman, trades in her career to become the owner of The Cosmic Cowgirl boutique in Nashville. Thus she works hard to carefully cultivate her fashion-house cowgirl image. So when she takes a two-week vacation to Foxe, Texas, to prepare her recently deceased grandmother’s house for sale, she’s astonished to find herself disliked almost before she steps out of her truck.

Aaron Whitaker runs the local Chevrolet dealership and raises cows and horses. He has no use for a flashy, brown-eyed fake cowgirl who has ignored her grandmother for years, especially one driving a Dodge pickup truck. And with his sister and her two young sons staying with him, he doesn’t have time to get involved with the menace next door—so why is he beginning to feel an unwanted attraction to her?

Can these opposites overcome their differences enough to experience the love of a lifetime?

Nanee's Review:

Love Felicity she's sweet, strong willed, chic (in her cowgirl clothes) and sassy and that's just what Allen found intriguing. Of course that was after their first run in. Allen cannot believe his eyes when this flashy cowgirl comes into town to clean out her deceased grandmothers home, he can't believe her audacity to be there grabbing everything dear to her grandmother but never visited  when she was alive. Allen is a Cardinal, he loves taking care of his family, he's like a mother hen with his sister and her kids, he's sexy as hell too a real man's man that's  what caught Felicity's eye,  of course that was after their first meeting (lol). Love their first interaction with each other...too funny. I absolutely think Pete and Joey stole the show with their cuteness and fear of ghosts (love them). This story was very sweet with a little touch of flirty, I thought the author wrote terrific characters, loved them all. It's a real page turner, I couldn't wait to see what happens.

Just when Colt starts to believe he can leave the gunfighter life behind, his past returns, bringing danger to them all. Can a shootist ever hang up his hardware? Or will their dreams disappear in the smoke of a desperado's gun?

Nanee's Review:

Very sweet story. I love the old west type romance stories. Amelia a tough as nails but sweet as pie women taking care of her brother and sister finds a gun man bleeding on his horse and takes him in. Colt a quick draw gun man regrets his past but when his enemies family are gunning for after him he doesn't have a choice but protect himself. When he's taken in by Amelia he realizes he wants more than the way he's been living. I thought their flirting and kisses were sweet and promised a future, I felt for Colt I wanted him to be able to stay with Amelia and her family and forget about his past . I also liked Jenny and Saul's characters very sweet kids. Very romantic and sweet story.

Nanee's Review of All About Charming by J. Arlene Culiner

18151140

Book description:

Alice Treemont has given up hope of meeting the right man and falling in love. Living in depopulated Blake’s Folly, a quirky community of rusting cars, old trailers, clapboard shacks and thirsty weeds, she spends her time cooking vegetarian meals, rescuing unwanted dogs and protecting the most unloved creatures on earth: snakes. What man would share those interests? Certainly not Jace Constant whose life in Chicago includes elegant women, fine dining and contemporary art.

Jace has come to Nevada to research the new book he’s writing, but he won’t be staying; as far as he’s concerned, Blake’s Folly is hell on earth. He’s disgusted by desert dust on his fine Italian shoes, dog hair on his cashmere sweaters and by desert bleakness. As for snakes, he doesn’t only despise them: they terrify him.

So how is it possible that each time Alice and Jace meet, the air sizzles? That she’s as fascinated by him as he is by her? That they know their feelings go deeper than raw desire? Still, it looks like this relationship is doomed before it starts: Jace won’t be around for long, and Alice wants to avoid the heartbreak of a short fling.

In need of some juicy romantic gossip, the other 52 residents of Blake's Folly have decided Alice has been alone for long enough. The attraction between her and Jace is obvious to everyone, so why worry about essential differences? If you trust in love, solutions do appear. But don’t those solutions call for too many compromises, too much self-sacrifice?

Nanee's Review:

I thought this book was sweet. Love Alice's character she's a independent, snake loving, dog rescuing women who lives in a small town I'm the middle of nowhere and loves every minute of it. Jace is a writer, teacher, lives in the city, hate snakes and other animals but also has a dreary life in the city. I love how the two met, Jace being so ornery about his dirty boots and a stray dog getting hair in his car, Alice being a little tough on him, almost rude but both liked what they saw. I liked their getting to know each other stage, the shy glances the conversation. I thought the town people were funny in their gossiping and match making. There first kiss and one's after sweet and promising. I thought the story was very romantic and sweet.

Nanee's Review :

I thought this story was sweet, romantic and a little sexy all in one. Although there was a few terrifying moments and sadness, I got swept away in chocolate Roses and hunky cowboys.  I thought the writer captured each moment perfectly, the descriptions and dialogue within the story made me feel part of it. I thought the characters were great....how can you not love a sexy cowboy.....Bri's character is hard not to love, she's shy, easily blushes but she is a strong , smart women that perseveres. Josh is a sexy cowboy that is nothing but a gentleman and extremely protective of what's his... He was was not looking for love (well maybe alittle) he cant believe the feelings from his one night with Bri he still has, well.. sparks did fly...Will Bri and Josh get together??? you'll have to read to find out....I hope their will be a Caleb story in the future (Josh's Brother),,,

Nanee's Review of The Bargain by Christine S Feldman

The Bargain Title: The Bargain
                                                               Author: Christine S Feldman
                                                               genre: Romance
                                                               Website: http://christinesfeldman.com/

Book description:

Tomboy Shannon Mahoney has always been a lot more comfortable with power tools than high heels or lipstick, and she wishes she could reinvent herself and finally tell her perfect boss, Drew Kingston, she has had a crush on him since high school. But she is just as tongue-tied and awkward around him now as she ever was, and long-familiar patterns are hard things from which to break free…

Ladies’ man Michael is a former bad boy looking for redemption. He is desperate to atone for past mistakes that he made with his family, but younger brother Drew has cut him out of his life and refuses to even speak to him. Which means Michael needs help getting to Drew.

And so he approaches Shannon with a proposition: If she will get Drew to agree to hear him out, Michael will mentor Shannon in how to win his brother’s heart. Suspicious of Michael’s motives, Shannon initially enters into the bargain just to make sure Michael isn’t actually in town to cause trouble for Drew, but the two unlikely allies are surprised to discover they enjoy each other’s company far more than either expected.

Shannon starts to realize that maybe love isn’t about reinventing yourself after all. It’s about finding your perfect match.

Nanee's Review:

Loved this Story thought it was very sweet and cute and romantic. Loved Shannon's character, she's so shy and innocent you cant help but feel for her and her feelings for Drew. Shannon wants nothing more than to be with Drew but she doesn't have the guts to make a move.  Drew has no idea of Shannon's feelings for him, he doesn't even remember her from high school. Drew is a sexy politician type that gets all the ladies and Shannon is just a carrot top geek with no social skills when it comes to men (or so she thinks). In comes Michael, a hot as hell,  rebel that's past is catching up to him. I loved Michael's character as well, he knows he made mistakes in the past and knows its probably to late to fix them but he's willing to try. When Michael sets out to Bargain with Shannon to get close to his brother, they all got more than they bargained for....very sweet, loving story of past regrets and forgiving futures.

Heart Trouble

Heart Trouble by Tommie Conrad

Publisher: Crimson Romance        Www.crimsonromance.com
Genre: Contemporary Romance

Book Description:
Brandt Conner is living the good life. Sure, work on his family’s ranch is hard and keeps him busy from sunup to sundown, but at least he’s got his best friend to help. There are only two sore spots in his life: lack of a loving, romantic relationship and a brittle connection with his father.

Brandt isn’t rich but he wants for nothing in the material sense, and Marissa must ignore the negative view some have of Brandt’s ways, his romantic past and his free-wheeling reputation. In Marissa, Brandt finds his other half—but if Marissa pursues her dreams of higher education, she’ll have to leave after just one summer together.

Will Brandt let her go? Or can he become the man he was meant to be?

Nanee's Review:

This story was sweet , romantic , loving and did I say sweet!!!

I really enjoyed this heartwarming story. Brandt my favorite character and his best friend Rawlings. they are two bachelors who aren't in any hurry to run or walk down the isle. They both live on Brandt's families ranch and Rawlings is considered part of the family by Brandt's parents Laura  and Mitch. Laura is your typical sweet, caring Ranch wife and Mitch is a tough and rough cowboy but what they both share is the love of their son.

Just when  Brandt's life seems to be missing something in comes Marissa who just moved in their area after looking for a job. When they meet sparks fly and neither knew what hit them. I loved the getting to know faze in their relationship, I loved their flirting and eventual love for each other. The Author portrayed their relationship perfectly. After Rawlings sees the smile on Brandt's face he wants in on the action and find someone special too. I thought this story was well written and very sweet. I always love to read a happily ever after.

The secrets of his past haunt the cabin, fraying the tightening bond between Master and slave, but it is her own memories that may finally unravel it.

This book contains a bonus short story Escape, set in the same dark erotica world.

Nanee's Review:

This book mesmerized  me, made me cringe and made me smile. The author writes a amazing story of dark erotica that makes your heart beat fast and your head spin. The female character fled a prison of torture, made her silent and scared and trained to be a slave, but when she wakes in a warm rustic cabin with a silent brooding man she's not sure whether to run or fall for him....Sam a man with nightmares doesn't know what to do with this mysterious women, so he takes her in his home but not his heart. He wants her body but not her.I loved this story because the writing is amazing. This author captures your attention and doesn't let go, I want to read more by Skye Warren.

But when the stranger's identity is revealed, will Senna's brazen "go-for-it" attitude backfire?
 Nanee's Review
The description of the story was so hot and sexy I couldn't help but want to read. Chev the main male character was  a panty dropping, hot, sexy, drool worthy Native American  which you can't help but get hot for. Senna a Native American tattoo artist  whose trying to get grants to establish herself in this field isn't looking for a man but when Chev stalks her through the convention she can't help but notice his dark eyes, muscles and sexy as sin face.  When they are finally alone things get hot and heavy when they show each other their ink. Totally sexy story but very very short, this story could have kept going it was so very hot and sexy. I really enjoyed reading this story, Just wish it kept going after Chev's diner invitation.

Nanee's Review of Firefly Mountain by Christine Depetrillo

Firefly Mountain

Firefly mountains by Christine DePetrillo

When an arsonist declares war on their town, Patrick and Gini reluctantly band together to sift through the ashes, each holding a secret close to the heart. As the arson escalates, so does their mutual attraction. Will teaming up put out the fires, or start a whole new

Nanee 's Review

I really loved this book, it was on my TBR list for a while and when I finally read it I was pleasantly surprised. I always love to read about sexy fireman and poochies. The writer created a unique love story that you can't help but fall for. One word to describe Patrick would be Hero, if you look up the definition you would see Patrick's picture. He saved his sisters in a horrible fire that claimed his parents, although he is terribly scarred from the fire both mentally and physically he won't consider being anything else but a fireman. One of his sisters talks him into moving and starting a new life and that's when he meets Gini. Gini has unique abilities ( I won't ruin it) but she is a one of a kind women in many ways. She loves to help, rescue and volunteer her time at the local animal shelter, she is a amazing photographer. She is loved by everyone in the community. She always has a smile and is carefree ( or so it seems). What Gini is missing is... love. When Gini meets Patrick sparks fly and tempers flare, but they cant stop thinking of each other. They need each other in more ways then one. This story takes you on a interesting journey....the reader goes through each emotion; sadness, loss, love and happily ever after. The cast of characters in this story just makes it that much better...love Midas he's my favorite.

How do you cope when the people you care for hurt you the most? When the way you feel on the outside, smothers you on the inside. And when you are left to face your demons alone, will you learn that only you have the power to overcome them?

Charlie has never had it easy. Between the constant moving and the incessant fat comments and jokes from her father, her self-worth is nonexistent. Her reflection in the mirror shows her nothing but a plain Jane. Music is the only thing that keeps her sanity in check.

Charlie catches the eye of the town star quarterback, Maverick. With her curves, her brunette hair, and the voice of an angel, Maverick has never met anyone like her. Everything that is different about Charlie just makes Maverick like her more. Unfortunately, Charlie doesn’t see it herself.

Proving it to her may deem harder than he thinks, especially when tragedy strikes and tears them apart.

Now standing on her own two feet she may finally learn exactly who she is, what’s she’s capable of and how very un plain Jane she really is.

Nanee's Review...
I don't know how I can describe this book other than to say its amazing....The writer created a story that will make you cry, extremely pissed off, and giggly happy.

I absolutely love Charlie and Maverick's characters. Charlie has a tough life she is verbally abused by her father and ignored by her mother. Her father seems to hate her but Charlie doesn't understand why. Charlie lives a life of sadness, of self loathing, and Loneliness When a sexy guy pays her attention and calls her gorgeous and loves her she can't come to terms with it, she doesn't believe it.

Maverick is the captain of the football team, sexy as sin and wanted by every girl in the school. He has the most loving parents and has friends galore. But all he wants is Charlie. He thinks she's perfect, beautiful, sweet and amazing.

The author writes a touching story of a beautiful, caring girl who thinks the worst of herself, she thinks she's fat and ugly and never had anyone in her life to tell her different. I felt for Charlie from the beginning. I wanted to be her BFF, I wanted to tell her how beautiful and wonderful she is. I loved that Tori took her under her wing. Tori is a best friend that everyone needs. She made Charlie feel wanted, and cared for and was always there to catch her when she falls. I had a great friend in high school like that and I tell you it makes life better. I enjoyed the relationship between Charlie and Maverick , from the first hello, to the first kiss, to the I loves you then to the pushing each other away. This story has it all. This author is a amazing writer and will go far. I have to give it a 5 pillows but love to give it more...can't wait for book 2.....

Book description:
Being a wedding planner with altar issues isn’t exactly good for business. Laine Peyton-Stanton has everything she needs. Money to burn, a thriving wedding boutique, a five thousand square foot house to herself, but the only thing missing is the husband she was supposed to have that left her at the altar a year ago. Leary of relationships, she hesitates getting back into one. On her way to work a traffic jam forced her to take an alternate route, where she met Kyle Logan quite by accident. Great, her day just got so much better. Not.

Minding his own business, Kyle Logan, a fire fighter for Atlanta, has no idea he’s about to meet the woman of his dreams. He’s been looking for the right woman to settle down with and hadn’t been having any luck until a woman in a Prius crashes right in front of him. She’s a bit of a bitch, but that makes the Dom in him want to tame her. He’s determined to win her over, but they don’t even know each other’s names.

What started off as a one night stand quickly develops into something more and one broken glow-in-the-dark lollipop condom could keep them together forever, until Kyle has an accident and lands himself in a coma. Will he recover and remember Laine and what they had or will he lose her forever?

Nanee's Review
who wouldnt want to read a book with sexy fireman?
Laine is afraid of walking down the aisle and getting married but shes a wedding planner and owns her own wedding boutique. Kyle is a sexy fireman looking for "the one" (great story idea)
Great sexy story..... Love Laine and Kyle's characters. Laine sexy successful rich business women looking for hot sex and nothing else. Kyle a hot as hell fireman looking for hot sex and maybe more, cant believe his luck when Laine gets into a accident out in front of the fire house. Laine cant believe she got into a accident while ogling a hot as sin fireman hosing off a truck. He cant stop thinking about her. She cant stop thinking about Mr Orgasm (whats she nicknamed Kyle's assets). As they go their separate their ways their desire for each other burns out of control and Laine's vibrator cant even keep up with her. Jeff Kyle's best friend is also a fireman and is a super jerk pain in the butt when it comes to Kyle's life (very well written, I wanted to slap the heck out of Jeff). Although Jeff and Kyle had shared girls in the past, Kyle is not willing to let Laine any where near him. Laine and Kyle's sex is out of control hot. Loved the relationship between Laine and Kyle, even though their were ups and downs and tragic circumstances while Kyle is recuperating, laine stays by his side.  I couldn't stop believing in their happily ever after.
Totally hot as hell read. I loved the part when Laine's mother  thought that kyle was a delivery boy and the way the guys refer to women as "minivans" if they want marriage and kids. Also loved the glow in the dark condom loved this book, highly recommend
