Synopsis:
Jackson
Cooper hates magic. Even though his brothers are falling prey to the seductive
draw of the paranormal world, Jackson wants nothing to do with it. He also
wants nothing to do with marriage, babies, and all that comes with it. He's
content with being the stoic, but quiet Uncle Jacks. But when a woman from his
past, one he's been dodging for years, comes back to town, Jackson might have
to reevaluate his plans.
Honor
Bridges is the tooth fairy. Well, not the tooth fairy, but at least one of
them. For the past eight years she's been on her own, hiding from what she
truly wants. Now she's back in Holiday and ready to take over her duties...as
well as deal with Jackson once and for all. But there's another player in town
who isn't happy with the decisions she made all those years ago and Jackson
might be the one who takes the brunt of that anger.
Warning:
Contains a wickedly spicy tooth fairy--complete with sparkly wings, the most
tortured of all the Cooper brothers in all his broodiness, and dreams that are
sure to make you never want to wake up in this final Cooper Brother's
installment of the Holiday, Montana series.
Anne’s Review:
Dreams of Ivory is the 5th book in the
Holiday Montana series. Having not read
the other four I was concerned I may not be able to catch up and be lost with
some of the characters. My fears were
put to rest. I was impressed with the
way Mrs. Ryan was not only able tell Honor and Jackson’s story but also include
the other Cooper brother’s and their spouses.
Jackson is a
hot, broody, older brother who hates magic and wants no part of it. Enter Honor, a sweet, loving tooth fairy who
has put off her duties for way to long.
Years before they let each other go thinking they were each doing what
was best for the other. However, fate has a way of kicking you in the pants and
making wrongs right. With someone out to
settle a score with Honor will she and Jackson be able to find their way back
to each other before it’s too late?
I really
enjoyed this story and I look forward to reading the four other books in the
series. The characters were well
developed and very enjoyable. If you are
looking for a great, hot, paranormal read to escape for a while I recommend
this series.
