Anna’s Review

It’s a Sweet Life is an erotic and charming story.  Libby is struggling to make her bakery work while dealing with a debilitating disease.  To make some extra money she rents out an extra apartment above the bakery and gains two very hot new neighbors.

Allan and Benjamin Donahue and in hiding from the mob and are determined not to get involved with Libby even though they are very attracted to her.  The two sexy men can’t hold out for long and become involved in a very steamy three way relationship with Libby.  Libby gets two sexy men in her bed as well as helpers in her bakery.  What woman could want more than that?

Tymber Dalton gives you very hot sex scenes but she also takes the time to build rich characters including her secondary characters that are all loving and supportive.  The end result is a very hot and sweet story!  I highly recommend It’s a Sweet Life and I have already started reading the next book in the series, Many Blessings.  I suggest you do too!

   Lets see what can i say about a book that has a sex scene 5 pages into it , but wow . Having Cyrah become a voyeuor to Roman and Sam in the office.

Was not what I was expecting.  How Roman and Sam were together and how Cyrah wanted to be part of all of it was well written .The emotions that

were felt by all three main characters were well written. You could feel the tension when Roman knew who Cyrah was , you could feel the saddness

when Sam realized that Cyrah was Roman's mate.   You could feel the tension in the room . Whe they realize that all three were mean to be

together you kinda cheered softly for them.  Cyrah truly loves the two men with all her heart , she has loved them for 5yrs before even knowing them.

 Her visions led her to them and her heart keeps her there. With Cyrah's and Sam's love help Roman defeat the evil that is in the coven and binds their

 love together for always.

     This book to me was a very fast read , the sex scenes seem fast to and end too quickly . Over all i really liked this book , my first read in the menage a

trois book. I would like to recommend this book to anyone who likes their erotica laced with a little paranormal.

   This book was a little bit more intense then the first book was .  It starts out with Marcus tracking his lover to a cabin in the woods . Where hs spies

on Victor and Sadie. As Marcus realizes how Victor has changed looking younger and mor sexy , as he is with Sadie. Making Marcus want them both.

Sadie on the other hand is a free spirit and has fought to be free of her overbearing mother and the coven. All she wants to do is travel and play her

guitar. She just cant bond with Victor as sh thinks he wants to control her .  Even though she knows he is her mate she fights tooth and nail to deny the

feeling in her heart. As Marcus enters the picture she is instantly attracted to the man also. Knowing that he is Victors friend . As eveyone is thrown together .

There is a evil waiting to make an example of Sadie. Now Marcus an Victor must work together and get Sadie back in their lives ,

 

    I liked the way this book read, there was much more going on then in the first book. The story grew as you read. You could feel the loneliness in

Marcus's heart as he watched Sadie and Victor together . the engerg betwwen them was good . The tension and inner turmoil was more intense this

time around. Between Sadie wanting freedom and Victors need to dominate and Marcus's need to please . The last 4 chapters really made the book not giving away any spoilers but wow .

    The book was still a fast read for me but it was more indepth and the story line was thicker and more intense . There were a few less sex scenes but the

ones there were good still seemed a little fast for the reader though. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes their erotica mixed with the paranormal

Krystal's Review...

I am a fan of Lia Davis. This short novel was action-packed and introduces the readers to a lot of new characters in the pack and even gives us a peek into the evil Onyx pack. My only hiccup with this book was all the characters. It's a huge cast and can be a little daunting to keep track of, that being said...I have really enjoyed Ashwood Falls so far and this book was a great addition. Lia does a great job building characters and relationships and you really get to know Blaine, Cameron, and Graham.

Now for the pink parts... This book is smok'n hot. Be warned it is a menage M/M/F (meaning the men are involved with each other in addition to the woman). Not my favorite type of menage, but it was excellently executed and the relationships built were strong and the sex was HOT!!!

Good job. I look forward to the next one!

The blurb kind of says it all.  This is a short erotic piece set in New Orleans at Mardi Gras complete with a vampire, two very sexy ladies who want him, and the Voodoo priestess who wants to keep them apart.  I was intrigued enough to select it from our review submissions pile.  That in itself is quite an accomplishment.  This is part of a series but it stands well enough on its own.  The lore is nothing we aren't familiar with.

Mirabella is overprotected and sheltered.  She's an adult but has very little experience under her belt (pun intended).  Marguerite is a take charge woman who knows what she wants.  She wants Nick, until she meets Mirabella and then she wants both. 

The story isn't long.  Marguerite comes to Mirabella's aunt's shop to get love help snagging Nick.  Weird guy creeps Marguerite out at work and Nick walks her home to find Mirabella waiting for both of them.  Then, there's a few chapters of menage sex, a little back story, a reveal, climax, and more sex.  Menage is difficult to write.  With two 'his' or two 'hers' the pronouns can get a little confusing.  There were a few times this could have been clearer.  If you are looking for a menage erotic short, give this a chance, you might like it.  If you are looking for a vampire erotic read, you might be disappointed with the minor part blood plays in this.

I enjoyed it but had some issues with Mirabella's character.  She is supposed to be a virgin.  First times are awkward. Her first is with a man and another woman.  She was anxious, which is to be expected, and then she says stuff no virgin would say.  She worries when they try something a bit kinky if they are already bored of her but that issue was never addressed.  She abandons the only family she knows without really discussing her reservations with her supposed mates.  Menage romance can be believeable but this dynamic felt a little lacking. 

I will say again that I enjoyed this short story for what it was.  I am always looking for an excuse to read about vampires and menage.  Throw them together in the melting pot known as NOLA, and I'll bite.  I give this one 3.5 satin pillows and 4 candle flames.
