Heaven Sent.

When forgiveness heals the soul, love heals the heart.

Flight nurse Tenlee Hawkins is used to making quick decisions, but one decision she made the Christmas day her mother died haunts her. Wrestling with the past, she spirals into depression--until the day she finds a man unconscious in her woods and saves his life.

When Sam awakens in the hospital with a concussion and no memory, Tenlee rescues him again. She takes him into her home and her life. But as Sam recovers and remembers who he is, he's torn. A guardian angel isn't supposed to fall in love.

As the promise of true love grows, Tenlee realizes that Sam has helped her much more than she ever helped him. But Sam is filled with guilt knowing he must soon leave. Will it take a Christmas miracle to find the life with Tenlee he's always wanted?

Catrina's Review:

The opening hook is strong. Right away it starts readers forming questions. Always a plus in my humble opinion.
Rich details enhance the story. Even though it's a novella, it's gripping and full of emotions.

I enjoyed that, aside from the first chapter where we met the hero, the first half of the story remained in Tenlee's POV.

I'd been given the impression that after the opening scene everything would be Tenlee's POV, so it pulled me right out of the story when chapter seven and eight were in Sam's POV.

I've never seen POV's done this way before. It's confusing to the readers.

The first half of chapter nine was Tenlee's Pov, and the second half was Sam's. Now that's how I'm used to dual POV's working, or every other chapter.
I cried at the end. Not many books have that effect on me. The ending words were perfect. Overall a well done novella.

  10. Harlie and Nona- if by "fallen angel" you mean he was bad and punished, then that isn't apart of this story. If by "fallen angel" you mean he was sent to earth on a mission to help someone, then you would be correct!

I hope you all will enjoy the story!
